This is a vintage Japanese hollowbody electric from the 1960s. This instrument was likely made during the guitar boom when hollowbodies were particularly popular. It resembles some instruments that were imported under the Silvertone brand, but it is very difficult to pinpoint which factory it could be from, perhaps Kawai or Matsumoku. This instrument is in very good condition for its age and make, and it has a great warmth and boom to it with both pick-ups engaged. The neck is straight and feels nice in the hands, with maybe just a bit high action on the upper frets. It is unfortunately missing its trem bar, and sorry, no case in this one.
