This is a Fender Jazz Bass 24, made in South Korea around 2009. This is not your daddy’s J-Bass, complete with a quilted maple top, expanded controls featuring a 3-band EQ and a blend knob, a pair of Seymour Duncan Bassline pickups, a slap switch, and of course, 24 frets. With quality parts as well as features, this bass has Hipshot tuners and a six bolt neck for added stability. This is a very dynamic bass, tonally speaking, with a plenty of room to make your own sound. Cosmetically it is fairly clean, with some bucklerash on the back and a paint chip on the treble horn. The only real issue with the bass is a crack in the headstock near the E tuner, but this crack has been filled by our in-house luthier and is quite stable. All told, this is a sharp looking bass that marries classic J-bass style with modern features; don’t pass it up! Ships in a gigbag.
