Here we have a solid body electric guitar from 1960s Japan, likely from the Fujigen factory. This instrument falls under the dubious category of “unlabeled” that is so typical of vintage Japanese, but as it heavily resembles a Marvel EJ2, which was made at the Fujigen factory. This guitar has a handsome red burst finish that is fairly well preserved. The pick-ups are gold-foil DeArmond copies that have a nice warm tone. The pickguard is in decent shape and the hardware still shines up nice. The neck is straight and easy to play and the original tremolo system still functions properly. Sorry, no case on this one.
