Here we have another groovy design from Framus, a 1965 Super Strato in sunburst finish. Known mainly as one of the first importers of bass guitars to Britain in the ‘60s, Framus had also produced an extensive line of guitars in its time. This is one such instrument, with its eclectic design that could only have come from the ‘60s. This guitar has a great airy and dirty vintage sound, and plays well for its age. It does have some significant wear on the fretboard, and the frets have wear as well, especially toward the higher frets. The control panel on the instrument features a master volume and separate volumes for each pick-up for blending. Also featured is a kill-switch and lead/rhythm switch. With a straight neck and only some slight damage around the body, this guitar is in very good condition. Ships in a soft-shell case that is, unfortunately, missing its handle.
