1979 Takamine F-349
While most people associate the legendary Japanese “lawsuit” era guitars with electric copies, there were also acoustic guitars in that mix. This is one such instrument, a 1979 Takamine F-349 in the style of a Martin guitar, right down to the script style of the “Takamine & Co.” headstock logo. This guitar, despite its copy-cat nature, is a fine instrument in its own right and is a great player. The sound is a little diminished by some bellying, but all in all it has a well balanced and aged tone. Condition-wise, there is some fretware and plenty of bumps and dings, structurally it is completely sound and there are no dead frets or sound issues at all. Ships in its original hard-shell case.
