1964 Guild X-50 Cordoba
Here we have a 1964 Guild X-50 “Cordoba” in sunburst finish. The X-50 model was originally given the name “Granada”, but changed to Cordoba in 1961. This model is a hollow body electric with a 16 ½” wide body with a 24 ¾” scale length. The pick-up is a single coil with a nice jazzy sound with a sort of neutral tone to it. The lacquer on the back of the neck has worn away, giving this guitar a great “worn-in” kind of feel. After a deep clean and set-up from our tech, this guitar has a great action and a squeaky clean look. This guitar is all original and fairly clean for its age, with only a bit of finish wear on the top, mostly relegated to the bass side above the pick-up. A perfect choice for a jazz cat on a budget looking for that vintage vibe, this beautiful Guild is a player’s dream! Ships in a gig-bag
