Here we have a Takamine C134S classical guitar from 1978. These ‘70s and ‘80s Japanese classicals are great buys for students and performers alike, with a fortuitous ratio of quality to cost and plenty of aging for a warm, free sound. Under the guidance of luthier Mass Hirade, Takamine implemented several design and manufacturing improvements and produced many fine classicals like this one. This guitar has a nice, warm, and well-aged voice and suffers only a slight bit from a lack of volume due to a liberal coating of lacquer when it was finished. The piece is very clean with only a small bump on the top and a slight discoloration at the lower bout. This instrument is a prize for anyone looking for a high quality concert instrument at an affordable rate. Ships in a chip case.
