1983 Peavey T-20 Bass, Natural
This is a Peavey T-20 bass made in 1983. Peavey instruments from the 1980s are prized for their American-made quality, vintage appeal, and wallet-friendly prices. This bass fits that bill, with a hefty Southern Ash body, a bi-laminated maple neck, and single Super Ferrite pickup. The pickup ring is also shaped to be a thumb rest, making for comfortable play! The sound is awesome, with a no nonsense control approach that makes it easy to plug and play. The neck feels good, and the action is nice and comfortable, though there is a heel dip that is causing the action to raise near the high frets. The finish appears to have been stripped, and there are plenty of bumps and dings, but this work horse is made for gigging; don’t pass it up! Ships in a gigbag.
