Boasting a 40 year career in arguably the greatest prog rock group of his time, Geddy Lee has been the dynamic and immensely talented bass-slingin’ frontman for Rush since their inception. During that time, he became largely associated with Fender Jazz Basses; this 2007 MIJ Jazz Bass is a tribute to the man and is spec'd out to match his favorite 1972 model. Loaded with a Badass II bridge and sporting a super thin fretboard, this bass will make it easy to pull off all of your favorite Rush songs in style. With two hot single coil pick-ups, this bass will give you that aggressive Geddy Lee sound you are looking for. This particular piece shows some signs of use, especially on the body top at the bass-side bout where there are several dents, but these hide well against the black finish. There is also some scratches on the chrome control plate and on the back. Despite these cosmetic issues, this bass is still bursting with that early ‘70s visual appeal and would make a great addition to any Rush fan’s collection. Ships in a gig-bag.
