Here we have an H945 “Master” archtop acoustic from Harmony. The one time biggest instrument producer in the world introduced this model in 1954 and kept it in production until 1972. This piece is likely from the ‘60s, but it is hard to tell as it is missing a date stamp. Whatever the year, this is a very well preserved piece with only slight wear on the back and hardly a blemish to be found on the top. There is some wear on the “ebonized” fretboard, showing the true maple color underneath the stain. The guitar plays just fine with a decent sound that would be great for some old blues or jazz. Ships in a chipboard case.
