Here we have a unique piece from Epiphone, the ET-270 from the early 1970s. These guitars were made in the Matsumoku factory in Japan during the golden age of Japanese electric guitars. This instrument was considered an economy choice during its day, but it later found favor with legendary Grunge guitarist Kurt Cobain, who used his ET-270 on Nirvana’s debut album, Bleach. The instrument is loaded with two single-coil pickups, a tremolo system, and a bass boost switch for that dirty roar. Our piece is in excellent condition, with a very straight neck and a well preserved finish. If you are looking for a dirty vintage sound with that unique Japanese style, then look no further. Ships in its original soft-shell case.
