Here we have a ‘50s Classic Stratocaster from Fender, made in Mexico with a Daphne Blue finish. It nails the ‘50s aesthetic with a thin headstock and a spaghetti letter logo. It even has uneven poles on the pickups, bent metal saddles, and Kluson-style tuners. Speaking of pickups, the bridge is the shining star, with a really powerful twang and punch. It is also capable of all the typical Strat sounds you could want, since one non-’50s feature is a 5-way switch. The piece is in fabulous condition, with only one little bump in the neck lacquer at the 7th fret, some very small bumps on the body, and some rust on some of the pickup poles. Apart from that, it is a beautiful guitar and a fabulous player, especially after an expert set up from our in-house luthier. Sorry, no case with this one.
