Here we have a groovy throwback to ‘60s style in this Pink Paisley Telecaster, made in Japan. This wild finish was a head-turner when it was introduced in 1969, and this loving tribute captures that style for the modern player. This instrument sports a maple neck and fretboard and a six saddle bridge, a modern update to this throwback. This update was supplied by its previous owner, a touring artist who further customized the instrument to suit his needs. Other upgrades include CTS EP885 pots and a set of Fralin Blues Special Telecaster pick-ups. Another peculiar feature is its jack plate; a plastic Gibson style square that appeared to be original, judging by the screw holes. This instrument is in excellent condition with just a few nicks and scratches and a straight neck, though it is missing the neck pick-up cover. The guitar plays nicely, with a percussive response from the maple neck. The pick-ups sound great with every bit of Tele twang you could desire. Ships in a hard-shell case.
