Gretsch

Here we have an excellent piece from Gretsch; a 1962 Duosonic in black finish with gold hardware.  This handsome instrument features two filtertron pickups and a Burns tremolo system.  It has on/off switches for both pick-ups near the upper horn.  The hollow body of this instrument makes it a pleasure to play even unplugged, and the filtertron pick-ups give a growl and twang quality that is quite unique.  The instrument feels slightly like a jazz box neck-wise, so this guitar seems to have something for everyone.  A favored model of AC/DC's Malcolm Young, this Gretsch is more than capable of providing rock sounds with a percussive response.  There is an unfortunate crack in the pick-guard from shipping, but the neck is straight and the body only has a few nicks; overall in excellent quality and ready to rock.  Also includes the original hard-shell case and papers.
