A prominent feature of the 1960s guitar revolution was the hollowbody electric guitar. Artists and bands from The Beatles to the Grateful Dead were innovating the rock sound on all manner of hollowbody guitars, and this Gretch StarFire III was designed for that need. This well-loved guitar will produce all the '60s sounds and more with play-ability to match. This guitar has some wear, with shrinking binding and some peeling on the head-stock veneer. It is also missing its pick-guard and pick-up covers and has a replacement bridge. Despite its missing parts, this guitar plays well and sounds great and is ready for many more years of playing. Included with the guitar is the original hard-shell case.
