Here we have a 1960s Kingston guitar, made by Matsumoku of Japan. Motsumoku did not produce from one of the major factories in Japan and instead had its own plant originally built for cabinetry. Because of this, Motsumoku was known to produce high quality instruments due to their experience with wood work. This guitar is in very good condition, with a straight neck a reasonable amount of wear on the finish. The neck is good solid wood, and the sound of the single-coil pick-up is a nice neutral tone. The reflective pickguard shines bright as ever and provides some groovy ‘60s Japanese flair. Ships in a gig bag.
