Martin

C.F. Martin & Co. has been a family affair since its founding in 1833, and this is a trend that they intend to continue. To this end, back in 2004, Martin produced a mere 100 of this mini-guitar to bring 7th generation Claire Martin into the family right. Certainly not just a toy, this guitar features Brazilian rosewood back and sides, a Sitka spruce top, and a mahogany neck with ebony fretboard. The inlays are another unique feature, with diamonds, squares, and snowflakes, all leading to a tiny pair of foot prints, ala a birth certificate. The instrument is also tasteful bound and topped by gold Waverly tuners. Finally, the traditional C.F. Martin & Co. logo still adorns the headplate, but instead of the typical “Est. 1833” we see Claire’s birth date, 9/13/04. A real collector’s item, this piece is number 51 of only 100 made. Our Claire guitar is in near-mint condition and appears unplayed, though the heel strip is shrinking, as is the neck to a lesser degree. This guitar comes with its Martin branded TKL hard-shell case with original pink plush lining.

Weight: 3 lbs. 3 oz.
