Silvertone

Here we have a Silvertone 1415 from c.1961. Silvertone was the proprietary guitar brand of Sears, Roebuck, & Co. from the 1940s and into the 1970s. They produced a wide variety of instruments and imported just as many from Japan later in the ‘60s. This guitar is a USA built 1415 with a lipstick pick-up that sounds quite nice over the hollow body of this guitar. The neck is very straight and easy to play and the original tuners are super smooth. The finish is reasonably preserved for its age, but there is significant finish wear on the back of the neck. Sorry, no case on this one.

Weight: 5 lbs. 12 oz.

7/10 (very good condition) c.1961 Made in Japan
