Here we have another classic guitar from the manufacturing monster that was the Harmony Company, this time branded by Silvertone. Harmony was so huge that it sold many of its guitars to other companies for rebranding, this particular piece went to Sears, Roebuck and Company under the Silvertone brand. This guitar is a 1963 hollow-body model 1446, featuring two Gibson mini-humbucker pick-ups. This instrument was nicknamed the “Chris Isaak” due to a popular vintage-style promo of the ‘80s crooner hugging a 1446. This particular piece is in very good condition with only light wear to the body and some missing bushings on the tuners. It is also missing its pickguard. Despite all that, it still plays very well, with a big sound thanks to the Gibson tuners. Great for some rockabilly or some vintage jazz, this guitar is ready to meet its new owner and keep on rockin’. Sorry, no case for this one.
