Here we have a handsome 1960s hollow-body from Silvertone. Made during the boom of hollow-body guitars in the late '50s and early '60s, this guitar shows obvious influence from Gibson but in that Silvertone mass-production style. With a laminated top and fret-board, it was definitely intended to be an economy class instrument. The piece itself is in very good condition, with a fairly straight neck and a well preserved finish on the body. Despite its cheaper construction, this instrument is still a charming guitar capable of some nice, old style jazz tones. Ships in its original soft-shell case.
