Steinberger Spirit Travel Guitar
This crazy little number is a Spirit headless guitar by Steinberger. Namesake Ned Steinberger made one of guitars wildest innovations back in the late ‘70s when he produced a line of guitars without headstocks, a feature that only recently seems to be gaining more traction. Now Gibson, the current owner of the Steinberger trademark, has brought back the original name with the Spirit series. These guitars are affordable, portable, and play just like a full scale guitar. This particular piece comes with EMG Select pickups in an HSH format. These pickups may not have the power of an 81/85 set, but they make a decent sound, especially the neck pickup. The guitar also features a foldable stand that makes for easier seated play, making this guitar a wonderful traveler. This piece is very clean save for a dent and some decent scratches on the back. It is also missing its whammy bar, but does include a travel sized gigbag!
